Devoted Church is a new church plant with a simple, biblical vision: to become a family of home churches where people are devoted to God's Word, time together, shared meals, and prayer.

We are building Christ-centered communities that meet in homes and live on mission throughout the week. We believe the church is more than a service to attend—it is a spiritual family called to make disciples together. Meet the Planting Family

We’re Josh and Kelly Allen, the planters of Devoted Church! Our family moved to Troutman, NC, this summer to start Devoted Church. We have been in ministry for 15 years, serving as church planters as well as discipling youth. We're passionate about creating Christ-centered community, and we believe that the belonging, purpose and hope that we’re all searching for can only be found in a relationship with Jesus.

The Lake Norman area is booming with growth and new families looking to make a good life here. In a quickly growing community, it can be difficult to find real connection. We are called to answer that need with the love of Jesus and the genuine community that can be found following him together.

We are gathering in our home on Sunday mornings at 10:30 and will be starting a weeknight Bible study later this fall. Are you looking for real community and church that goes far beyond four walls? Join us at Devoted Church!

Deep Discipleship

We help one another grow in following Jesus so that we can each obey His command to make disciples in our neighborhoods, nation, and across the world.

Growth by Multiplication

Home churches are designed from the start to grow by multiplying into more churches, rather than only adding people to one church. Pastors are continually training up new leaders to plant more home churches and reach more neighborhoods!

Authentic Community

Home churches consist of 10-40 people who truly share life with one another. Smaller community means we can love one another like family because we know one other and share one another’s burdens.

Rooted in Neighborhoods

We are committed to loving and reaching our neighbors. Each home church is on mission to meet the spiritual and practical needs in its own neighborhood.
